A member asked:

Is lidex good for lichen planus gum and do you have it?

It would be effective if it is amenable for use within the mouth. I favor a prescription corticosteroid cream or ointment that is designed for use within the mouth such as kenalog in orabase.

Lidex is for skin irritations such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and rashes. For oral lichen planus, Tacrolimus [Prograf] is the drug of choice. Both LIDEX and Tacrolimus can be used for extra oral lesions. Ask your dermatologist for advice.
