My wife gets pain under her jaw when drinking wine or tomato juice. what can she do to stop it?

Female symptoms of cardiac insufficiency including "jaw pain", are similar to male anginal pain, and may indicate the need for a cardiolgist for consultation and additional testing. This has little to do with the beverage being consumed, and more to a potential increased demand on cardiac function from anxiety, etc.

This is an unusual symptom, but may be due to gastroesophageal reflux disease, since both wine and tomato products can contribute to GERD. I would use antacids whenever she has the symptoms. If she needs persistent medication, she should see her primary doctor or a Gastroenterologist. Good luck.
