I have been naively taking 15ml milk of magnesia for past two months for my fissure... does it cause magnesium overdose?

No, that would not cause a magnesium overdose, although it certainly could give you loose stools. If you’re having diarrhea or if your stools are too loose, you should cut back the amount of magnesium you’re ingesting . Good luck.

You will not overdose from this. For constipation - You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods. http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/in-depth/high-fiber-foods/art-20050948 Wish you good health!
