Do genital warts ever stop spreading on yourself?

Genital warts can spread, but over time your immune system will eliminate them. See your GYN physician, as cautery with freezing or heat (after lidocaine at specific sites is injected) can destroy the ones present.

Genital warts are caused by several strains of HPV, which is a virus that is spread sexually. There are treatments, including freezing, laser, and medicines which can treat the words themselves. You should see your doctor or a dermatologist to discuss it. Here is a helpful link: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/4209-genital-warts
