I have a pattern of red dots not itchy on my stomach sides back and arms. i just took blood work and i do not have an autoimmune problem and no new medication. the emergency room gave me prednisone and it did not help at all.what could this be from?

Without seeing the actual rash or pattern of darts, it would be difficult to ascertain what the problem is just from the short description here. You should follow back up with your primary care doctor or a dermatologist. If the emergency room did not perform any laboratory evaluation, you should certainly have a CBC performed to check your platelet count. Good luck.
