A member asked:

Is cerebrolysin effective for intellectual disability since it's used for cognitive impairment? what dosages would be suitable here? how much is the improvement after treatment? is stem cell effective and if it is used with cerebrolysin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There is one Cochrane report from several years ago showing no definitive value in isolated vascular dementia when given intravenously. This mixture of pig brain peptides likely has NO specific benefits for any intellectual disability, and I cannot recommend its use. It is certainly not approved by the US FDA or the European EMA.
