You should get seen by your doctor and have your stool tested to make sure it is not blood. If it is blood, you should see a GI doctor to see why you have blood in your stool. If there is no blood in your stool, then it is likely diet-related. Sometimes, there could be something red colored in the food you are eating that you are not aware of. So, see your doctor. If you think that the red flakes represent blood, then you should get checked out by your primary care doctor or a gastroenterologist to verify that. Otherwise, eat a lot of fiber and drink plenty of fluids. Good luck.
