I had drug test yesterday for new job. i asked the testing person if i should disclose any prescriptions she said no. i found out after the test that sertraline can cause a false positive. i take 50 mg of sertraline daily. are false positives common?

Any positive screen warrant confirmation by mass spectrometry. If your screening test is positive, you should ask for a confirmatory test. Sertraline can cause a positive result for the hallucinogen LSD on a urine drug test. It may also cause a positive result for benzodiazepines.
