Agree with Dr. Ferguson, as doubt you are at risk for cancer. Some additional approaches to address your anxieties would also include cognitive-behavioral therapy, biofeedback, meditation, aerobic exercise, and acupuncture.

The docs who went before me provided excellent assistance/advice here. I am a neurologist who went for psychological training later in my career. I have done psychotherapy with patients over the years. It can be seen where anxiety is precipitated by a treatment or diagnostic work up. One more modality I would mention is Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing in addition to the others mentioned
