You should see your doctor as there are many treatments for anxiety. It really depends on what is causing the anxiety that will determine the best treatment. There are medications that will help-some are used temporarily if whatever is causing the anxiety is short-lived. You may also benefit from counseling to learn coping skills to manage your anxiety without meds, if possible. Good luck!

It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water.
