The chemicals that trigger any pregnancy symptoms will turn a properly done urine pregnancy test positive by 3-4 weeks after conception and continue to remain positive. Bloating is most often caused by swallowed air and bowel gas. If you are concerned about the origin of this change, have an evaluation done.

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
