Also just wondering can you go to a hospital and just ask for just a transvaginal ultrasound and nothing else?

Your post does not give your location but in the US, hospitals do not offer such testing on a walk-in basis. It would require a physician who has you as a patient order the test. To order the test the doc would need a reason, based on prior treatment and exam. To get any 3rd party payor to cover the cost would require written documentation of all these factors.
