If you're experiencing symptoms from heavy blood loss & resultant anemia, lightheadedness is more likely to occur rather than true vertigo which is usually caused by problems with the inner ear or cerebellum. A physician or neurologist can evaluate and advise you if dizziness of either type recurs.
