Today at work i had passed a clot on my period and it seems to be tissue. i measured it and it is almost 2.5 inches. should i be worried or is this normal? i know for a fact i could not have been pregnant?

You need not be concerned. Clots will form if the blood doesn't drain out very quickly and is a normal process. Menstrual blood contains some tissue from the uterine lining but older clots can also look very tissue-like.
