Is there a heartbeat in cryptic pregnancy?

A pregnancy is a pregnancy. If you are using the usual definition of cryptic pregnancy meaning a woman does not know she is pregnant, the fetus still follows the same pattern of development. The fetus has a functional heartbeat at 5 weeks although this is not audible by most methods until much later. An ectopic pregnancy (in a fallopian tube) would also have an inaudible heartbeat at 5 wks.
