Is diarrhea that has persisted for 1 month+ a potential symptom of herpes infection? i have read that it can cause acute diarrhea, but im unsure about persistent diarrhea?

There are far commoner causes of diarrhea than herpes. Herpes is an unlikely cause. One month is too long for diarrhea without seeking healthcare. You may take Imodium, if that does not resolve the issue in 2-3 days, it would be prudent to see a doctor.

No way. Herpes doesn't do this. These are entirely separate health issues.
