Hi there. my mom says she used to have a tiny dark dot on the white of her eye below her iris. today i was alarmed to see a light brown blotch in that same location. the dot was a tiny dot but this blotch is spread out. should we be worried?

If there has been a notable change in the appearance of the pigmented spot on the conjunctiva (as you described), I would definitely have it looked at by an ophthalmologist.
