Would taking bactrim make chlamydia symptoms disappear only to reappear later?

Chlamydia symptoms vary in patients with some having variable or no symptoms. Resistance to Bactrim and other sulfa based drugs is known. It would not be my first choice for treatment. The only way to document clearing of this problem is through repeat testing.
