Ive spoken with a doctor about this. im looking for other opinions: i have autoimmune gastritis. i vomited blood 6 weeks ago. a cbc showed no sign of active bleeding. no bloody vomit since. does this mean theres no longer blood down there?

Not necessarily. CBC does rule out active bleeding. You may have an ulcer that bled 6 weeks ago and could bleed again. It would be prudent to have an upper GI barium study or better upper endoscopy.
