I have nausea about once a month. iam a burper since i was a baby. i am also constipated and was wondering if nausea can be caused when i start to have bowel movements. i have had a ctscan on my abdomen and pelvis, egd, and colonoscopywhat is this?

If the vagus nerve is stimulated during a BM, nausea can be provoked. Also the valsalva maneuver when bearing down for a BM stimulates the vagus nerve.
