Can antibacterial drops cause eye fungal infection?

Antibacterial drops, properly handled, do not cause fungal infections. If they are not handled correctly and fungal spores enter and reside inside the container, they could transfer to whatever surface to which they were placed. Antibacterial chemicals do not kill off fungal spores.
