Herpes un-curable: Nope. Not at this time. But the infection can be suppressed by medications if there is any risk of contagiousness or recurring outbreaks and sores.

No: Hsv - hepes simplex virus comes in 2 basic forms type 1 (generally oral) and type 2 (generally genital). Both are viruses that live in the nerve ganglion & once infected it remains with you all your life. Many can have hsv1 and never have any real problems except an occasional cold sore, hsv2 tends to be more troublesome but both can be controlled with medication from your md or dentist.
