Can you get brucella from ticks? there's some information around it being a coinfection with lyme but most sites say brucella is only contracted from eating contaminated food. can a tick give you brucella?

Brucellosis is caused by bacteria, typically from unpasteurized dairy products. Babesiosis is a Lyme co-infection. They are actually 2 different illnesses. Hope this helps! Good luck!
