Anal Lesions: Hi this makes me want to recommend that he get medical attention sooner than later. There are two common scenarios, the bump or lump is a hemorrhoid or an anal fissure. In either case if the lump ulcerates or gets worse than a significant infection can develop and there may be an urgent need to fix this surgically ensues. I often see patients for this or send on to a specialist.
