A member asked:

Can metronidazole vaginal gel kill sperm inside a woman?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Metronidazole is not an effective contraceptive. It can, however, impede the progress(motility) of sperm through the vagina when it is present, but "escapees" can still fertilize the ovum.
