My grandma recently returned from the hospital for atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia treatment by amiodarone for the same. she is told to take amiodarone for one month. does she do vagal maneuvers at home if she feels her heart rate raising?

There is an area in the neck where the throat joins the head under the jaw on either side. That is the position where massage near the carotid artery can trigger vagal heart slowing. You should ask the docs who treat her whether they consider the maneuver safe and when to do it.
