Very much so : In fact, your asthma and bronchitis may all be do to allergies. Many times when we treat asthmatic patients with anti-allergy medications, often their asthma symptoms improve and sometimes subside. Discuss treatment options with your doctor. More severe cases may need more advanced anti-allergy treatments and your dr. Will refer you to an allergist or pulmonologist if that is in fact the case.

Yes: Allergies often cause flare ups of asthma. Treatment of allergies can help stabilize asthma. See an allergist for evaluation and treatment of asthma and allergies.
