If your symptoms are triggered by pregnancy a simple urine pregnancy test should be positive. Some normal women skip a cycle occasionally so the delay does not always mean pregnancy. Do the test and confer with your doc.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time.
