This sounds like a normal immune/defensive response to the virus. Fever increases heart rate and breathing to move self healing oxygen and immune factors through the system. This at your age is a good response & should provide you with multiple times the immune benefit of the vaccines or boosters. Contact your doc when or if worrisome other changes occur.

COVID 19 may be associated with fever during the course of the illness. The symptoms should begin To subside, and if there is worsening, consider COVID or bacterial pneumonia. Watch for redness of the eyes, shortness of breath and sputum production.
