The initial presentation for ALS in most cases is with unilateral symptoms, muscle twitching all over the body is not a sign of ALS.

There are many causes of muscle twitching, and ALS as a mechanism would be the least likely. Possibly you have benign fasciculations, but you will need a direct examination from your doctor to establish your diagnosis.
