Following colposcopy, there may be some bleeding which could reduce the sensitivity of your BV and yeast swab tests. Likewise, the swab could disrupt the scab on the cervix and cause bleeding, but this would not be serious. In general you can test for BV and yeast anytime and the best time for the test AND TREATMENT would be BEFORE the colposcopy. If you're concerned and not bleeding, do the test.
