A member asked:

Are baking soda baths safe to balance vaginal ph? and are baking soda baths safe in general?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No. The vagina has a pH that is slightly acidic and it does not require "re-balancing" with an alkaline baking soda bath which will create an acid/base chemical reaction when the bath water goes inside the vagina. You will create more problems doing so with the need to see a Gynecologist if you do . This is a classic case of a "solution" in search of a "problem".
