More details for questions will taking 600 mcg of biotin daily affect my hiv lab combo test? i read that it will cause false negative? ive had multiple tests and all are a negative after vaginal sex after 4 months?

There is a lot of inaccurate information on the web about biotin and HIV testing. It has absolutely no effect, even at the highest doses in various vitamin or other health potions. It is 100% certain you do not have HIV. Stop testing.

Waited 60-65 hours after my biotin dose of 5000- 10000mcg. Did a LAB 4th GEN HIV test at 85 days exposure. Worried the assay biotin threshold is very low, as the labs wouldnt tell me. Do I need to wait up to a week off biotin and redo my test?
