Planes are pressurized at 8000ft and most fly at an altitude of 30000ft or more. Don't drink alcohol before and while on flight. Hydrate yourself by drinking a lot of water on flight.

Lived in Cheyenne, WY for a few years, 6,600 ft. Took a little getting used to. But symptoms very mild. Doubtful you had altitude sickness. Symptoms probably have different cause and time frame merely coincidental. See your GP or an Internist.

No. Las Vegas in not an elevation that would cause altitude sickness. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV, Flu and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
