Would a heart murmur be detcected on a first echo or can the murmer come in later or be missed in an echo?

Echos do not detect hear murmurs (sounds). The detect heart size, movement and blood flows.. A human listening to your heart detects a murmur. Unless you get a Phoncardiogram. Many practitioners are not skilled at listening to the heart these days and murmurs are often missed.
