Is cinnamon good for pre diabetes or diabetes ? i keep hearing good stuff about it?

It is felt that cinnamon lowers blood sugar and may prevent onset of diabetes by increasing the effect of your insulin. It also contains antioxidants which have health benefits. Advocates recommend 1 or 2 teaspoons a day.

I know of no good data that suggests that cinnamon has ANY health benefits. I would go to PUBMED.com and search Cinnamon AND Health. Let us know what you find out. The best way to not get diabetes is to choose different grandparents;=-) an to keep your BMI below 25. You can do the latter easily by choosing healthy eating. Recommend the DASH diet.
