Will emergency contraceptive work if taken within 24hr but during the time of ovulation?

One way EC works is by altering the secretions/environment in the womb to make it an unfavorable for sperm to pass through or implantation. If taken within the exposure timeframe listed by the EC (usually 48-72 hrs) it should prevent pregnancy.

It will work if taken within 72 hours of sex. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex : https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness-and-prevention/safer-sex-guidelines Get HPV vaccine
