No: Psychiatric meds are generally not associated with arthritis issues although chronic anxiety and depression can cause joint and muscle pain.

Posture: I have seen that TMJ can affect patients creating a forward head posture. Research has demonstrated an average of the head being 4 inches forward which causes the hips to rotate forward and the knees the be straight. Perhaps this posture is what you are demonstrating and it places more pressure on your knees. There is also a 80% overlap in TMJ and sleep related breathing disorders.

Not usually: Not to my knowledge. Make sure your TMJ is managed by a TMJ expert. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience. Most commonly, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and orofacial pain specialists. Ask your MD, your dentist and your dental society for referrals.
