A member asked:

Xray mentioned my ovaries and uterus, but did not 'catch' my tubal ligation. is it possible the tubes grew back together?

This post does not provide adequate information for a response. What x-ray? The common abdominal x-ray often reveals no such finding. The x-ray that would verify normal tubes would be a dye study where contrast media is pushed through the tubes from the uterus.

It is possible, but very unlikely, that your tubes grew back together. As already mentioned, only a specialized X-ray will show anything about tubes and it is difficult to see uterus and ovaries with X-ray. Other types of studies can see these better with the tubes being most difficult to visualize with any method.
