A member asked:

Can i still get pregnant if i had unprotected sex while menstruating?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If menstrual bleeding is prolonged and/or your cycles are less than 28 days apart, ovulation may occur and pregnancy is possible. If your cycles are regular (28-34 days apart) pregnancy is unlikely. If your period is delayed, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain.
