Bcp's contain both estrogen and progestins, and taking two within a 24 hour period on an "empty stomach" may cause transient nausea. If pregnancy is possible b/c of irregularly taking the bcp's as directed, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain the nausea is not caused by early pregnancy.
