Risk of breast cancer depends on family history, and the detection of estrogen and progesterone receptors in the original tumor. Estrogen per se is generally stopped if prior receptors are estrogen positive, and this is inhibited by other pharmacologic agents or by removal of ovaries. See a hematologist/oncologist for a definitive decision, as at 39, there are other reasons to keep your ovaries.
