I over heat during the night when im in bed and have for as long as i can remember. now i am even waking up drenched in sweat when my partner is a completely cool normal temperature. is this actually okay if i have always been hot at night?

Since these night sweats have been occurring for years and you have no fevers,chills,weight loss, or body aches & pains, they appear to be more of a nuisance than anything serious. I assume that you don't take medication like aspirin, Aleve, advil,Tylenol in the evening as these can occasionally cause night sweats. I'm sure your bedroom is not overheated& you don't use heavy blankets, bedclothes
