A member asked:

Can non epileptic seizures affect your mood?

Since "non-epileptic seizures" represent non-organic and psychological underpinning, it would not be surprising to encounter a variety of associated mood changes. A psychologist or psychiatrist could be recommended to manage this. (Incidentally, not unusual for true epilepsy to be associated with a variety of psychological issues!)

often people who have non-epileptic seizures will have mood or other psychiatric problems. So the non-epileptic seizures would not cause the change in mood, but the other way around.
