If your cycles are very regular at 25 days, I would expect ovulation on or around 10/15 . The egg lasts one day.Sperm is viable for up to 5 days. You would have been most fertile 10/14-10/16. Conception was possible after unprotected sex on 10/9. This is just a guideline, however. Your gynecologist can advise you best.

Conception occurs within day or so of the sex. It takes about 3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG for a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period.
