Hello. Tylenol and Motrin are OTC options for pain relief. It’s probably a good idea to contact the Doctor/Dentist who performed the injection what your expectations are for post procedure recovery. Typically just an injection (local anesthetic?) should recover rather quickly. There is topical numbing medication for teething children and canker sores. Ice to the area may help you feel better

Have the dentist put t topical gel on area or spray area with a numbing solution. Have nurse hold your hand, think positive or as a last resort take a tranquilizer.
