Do you know if cbd with no thc helps with migraines?

A 2019 review published in “Current Opinion in Neurology” suggests that CBD may play a role in alleviating migraines. CBD can affect signaling pathways by targeting pain control receptors. CBD can suppress the release of certain proteins linked to inflammatory pain & modulate the immune cell system & this modulation of the endocannabinoid system is thought to offer treatment for migraines.

The role of CBD in responsive patients, who have migraine, would be a temporary benefit over a few hours, but would not prevent recurrent headaches. Would personally prefer CBD to other analgesics, but have concern if used frequently, as could trigger chronic daily migraine pattern. See a neurologist who focuses on migraine and discuss approaches.
