You can get pregnant during ovulation.The closer that happens to your period will determine the source of the pregnancy. The period itself does not as this can represent the lost of the last unfertilized egg and not the one fertilized to result in your pregnancy. Unfortunately there are to many variables during the overlap and there is no accurate way to determine this except with a paternity test
