Exercise helps. Depending on other issues, you may need to lose weight, modify your diet, and if the cholesterol is still remains high, may need medication. It would be prudent to discuss it with your doctor for an approach tailored for your needs and circumstances. Wish you good health!

Exercise, combined with a good low fat diet, cessation of smoking ,and if necessary medications to decrease cholesterol may ALL be indicated. Do not ignore. See your doctor for guidance. Exercise should be moderate, and about 30 minutes in duration and should be continued for the rest of your life. Good chance that you will control the problem. Good luck.
