All bacteria eventually die. Bacterial resistance is usually passed down to their babies as it is due to a genetic mutation that enables them to survive when they come in contact with that antibiotic. Ain’t evolution grand?

No. It is just the bacteria in the wound that responds to the antibiotic. If you get re infection then depending on which bacteria is present as to whether it is resistant to that antibiotic or not. Good Luck
